Mischievous and witty Punjabi tourist
guide Harinder, short for ‘Harry’ (Shah
Rukh Khan), meets cute and naïve Gujarati
lawyer Sejal (Anushka Sharma) amidst the

unfolds as Sejal tours Prague, Amsterdam,
Lisbon and Budapest — a last single’s trip
before she gets married. However, while

Keshav (Akshay Kumar) is single and
desperate to get married. He is termed a Wamikachaw Wamika_nonie
manglik because his stars are not favourable
towards him having a successful marriage.
But this changes when he meets Jaya
(Bhumi Pednekar). Keshav and Jaya, both
from villages near Mathura, fall in love
and soon tie the knot. But that’s when the
trouble begins. Jaya realises, on the fi rst day
of their marriage, that there is no toilet in
Keshav’s house. To relieve herself, she has to
wake up at 4.15 am to defecate in the open
fi eld. Jaya can’t tolerate this, and as a result,
leaves Keshav. Determined to bring his wife
back, Keshav fi ghts against the age-old
mindsets of Indians who think “it is a sin to put a toilet in the same place
where they worship the tulsi.” The fi lm is a satirical comedy in support of
PM Narendra Modi’s campaign to improve sanitation conditions in India.

A GENTLEMAN

A Gentleman features the gorgeous pair
of Sidharth Malhotra as Gaurav and
Jacqueline Fernandez as Kavya. Gaurav
wants to settle down, so much so that he
has bought a minivan and a big house for his
future family. He has already wooed Kavya’s
mom, but is yet to woo Kavya. Although
Gaurav is described as sundar and susheel,
Kavya tells him she needs more excitement
and spice in her life. And that is what she
gets when Gaurav goes to Mumbai for an
assignment, and get’s mistaken for his
doppelganger, Rishi (also played by Sidharth)
by dangerous operatives. As a result, they hunt him down, causing Gaurav
and Kavya’s world to turn upside down.
