MAPPINg ThE CANvAs
OF INdIAN ART
“Mapping the Canvas of Indian Art
at 70 years of Indian Independence”
was a painting and art exhibition
held at Bangkok Art and Culture
Centre (BACC) from September
15th to October 1st. This exhibition
featured masterpieces of celebrated
Indian artists such as Satish Gujral,
Anjolie Ela Menon, Arpana Caur and
Jatin Das, and is part of the ongoing
Festival of India in Thailand. The
Ambassador of
India to Thailand,
H.E. Bhagwant
Singh Bishnoi
inaugurated
this prominent
showcase.

Women’s Club said Namaste to an
Indian-themed luncheon, which
featured entertaining Bollywood
performances and a delicious buffet
selection. This
afternoon was
held at Holiday
Inn Bangkok
Silom on
September 21st.
