The relationship between these two individuals was little known, which is
why the play was created to celebrate the 150th birth anniversary of Shrimad. This
important occasion also commemorated the release of stamps and coins bearing
Shrimad’s image in India.
The drama, with grand sets and vibrant music, was created by a well-known
theatre team. The script is written by Uttam Gada, music composed by Sachin-
Jigar, directed by Rajesh Joshi, and produced under the guidance of the founder of
Shrimad Rajchandra Mission Dharampur (SRMD), Pujya Gurudevshri Rakeshbhai.
The play has received numerous accolades, including the award for the Best
YUGPURUSH Play of 2017 at one of the most prestigious performing art institutions in India,
Dadasaheb Phalke Excellence Awards. It was also the fi rst Indian play to be staged
at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood, where the world famous Academy Awards is
